Launched in 2022 in collaboration with KPMG, the Future of Work and Women’s Employment Project was designed to guide the business world in processes of gender equality and digital transformation. The project aimed to analyse the digitalisation-related competencies of companies’ female talent pools and to develop a guiding framework for Human Resources departments.
First Phase of the Project
At this stage, the current situation regarding women’s employment and digitalisation was analysed, drawing attention to issues of gender inequality in Türkiye.
Key Findings from the Research Report:
The proportion of white-collar female employees rose from 36.4% in 2019 to 37.2% in 2021.
The proportion of women on Boards of Directors was 16.7% in companies listed on Borsa Istanbul, compared to 23% in participating companies.
79% of participating companies included digital transformation in their agenda, while 41% carried out initiatives to enhance the digital competencies of female employees.

In the 2022 Member Satisfaction Survey, the project was evaluated as the most successful and inclusive initiative of the year.
