What is Eşit Adımlar ?
Equal Steps is a platform that highlights the importance of gender equality in professional life and supports women’s equal participation in the economy, decision-making mechanisms, and the workforce. It serves as a digital guide where best practices and roadmaps are shared with the aim of strengthening equality in pay, promotion, and representation for women.
On the platform, in addition to the latest developments on equal opportunities, you can find companies’ best practice examples, measurement tools, research, legislation, and guidance documents.
Who Supports It?
Eşit Adımlar was launched in 2018 by our Association, with the support of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Türkiye Sinai Kalkınma Bankası (TSKB).
The Purpose of Equal Steps
Although women and girls in OECD countries outperform men on average in educational achievement, their representation in high-demand fields such as STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) remains notably low.
Founded to transform this picture, the Equal Steps Platform:
- Promotes human resources policies grounded in equal opportunity,
- Highlights best practices,
- Guides institutions on their journey toward gender equality,
- Supports the advancement of human resources policies.
