İş Dünyası ve Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Derneği (SKD), sürdürülebilirlik konusuna ilgi duyan, bu alanda çalışmalar yapmış ve bir sivil toplum örgütü ortamında Türkiye'nin sürdürülebilir kalkınma gündeminin gelişmesine destek verebileceği inancında adaylarla çalışmaktan memnuniyet duyar.

Adayların etik iş ilkelerini benimsemiş, araştırmacı ve deneyim sahibi olmaları tercih nedenidir.

Staj İmkanları

Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma konusunun gelecek kuşakların ancak bu konuyu içselleştirmesi ile mümkün olabileceği bilinci ile SKD Türkiye dernek ortamında staj imkanlarını değerlendirmek isteyen stajyerlere yer vermektedir.

BCSD Turkey Working Groups Assistant Specialist 

Job Description

 

In January 2020 BCSD Turkey reviewed its strategy and grouped its activities under 5 main clusters: 
 
Transition to Low Carbon Economy and Energy Efficiency
Circular Economy 
Sustainable Agriculture and Access to Food
Sustainable Finance and Risk Management
Women Employment and Equal Opportunities
 
The BCSD Turkey team is seeking to employ an Assistant Specialist to work across these clusters at BCSD Turkey. 
 
The Assistant Specialist will report to the Working Groups Manager and will be responsible for assisting the coordination of the deliverables of the workplan for the working groups.  
 

Responsibilities and duties

Assist the project management within BCSD Turkey’s focus areas
Ensure high member engagement through regular communication with working group members via email, phone, webinar and workshops
Organize group meetings, webinars and workshops with the working groups as necessary. Coordinate with working group as necessary to prepare agendas, slides, etc. and prepare meeting minutes and draft deliverables 
Assist to ensure targets and milestones are met within the Groups
Assist the delivery of written materials such as reports, guidance, fact sheets: Collect data, research, draft text, facilitate agreement between working groups members and external stakeholders, work with the Communications expert during editing and proofreading processes 
Contribute to events planning and delivery for both BCSD Turkey and partner events, represent BCSD Turkey in sustainability related events.
 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration or similar 
Minimum 2 years experience in NGOs or private sector (or private sector-facing organization).
Well-versed, passionate and confident about sustainable development, particularly in speaking with experts from business, government, academia and NGOs.
Project management experience with demonstrated success when managing both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple project tasks and ad hoc demands simultaneously.
Capacity to work independently, proactively address problems and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English are critical, fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
