The purpose of the Sustainable Finance and Risk Management Working Group, which is one of the intersection points of SKD Turkey's five focus areas; developing projects and organizing events in order to keep sustainable finance on the agenda of the business world, to ensure the integration of ESG risks with corporate risks and to disseminate good practices.
Sustainable Finance and Risk Management Focus Area Studies
For this purpose, among the risk management activities of the Sustainable Finance and Risk Management Working Group, The Reporting Matters Project which is a methodology aimed at increasing the quality and effectiveness of sustainability, integrated and integrated annual reports, developed by our umbrella organization WBCSD is being carried out.
Among the sustainable finance activities of this working group, Sustainable Finance Forum, which is in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and Global Compact Turkey, to increase awareness of sustainable finance in the banking, non-banking finance sector, and the real sector and to share good practices is organized every year since 2013.
